Edinson Cavani, who played as a substitute in the second half, regained his scoring touch to win Paris Saint-Germain 4-2 against Olympique Lyon and is approaching another step from his seventh title in the French Premier League in eight years.
Uruguay striker Cavani scored his first goal in about six months, with his participation for a few periods after returning from injury. His goal confirmed the victory of Paris Saint-Germain, who raised his score to 61 points from 24 games.
Coach Thomas Tuchel, who also scored Angel de Maria, Killian Mbappe and Fernando Marsal, Lyon, missed his own goal, 12 points behind second-placed Olympique Marseille.
Lyon, who scored both goals through Martin Trier and Moussa Dembele, is ninth with 33 points, eight points behind the Rennes Stadium, which occupies the last qualifying position for the Champions League.
