A few months separate us from the launch of the first perspective
and science fiction game Cyberpunk 2077 from the Polish
company CDPR, and from the same developers who worked on
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which achieved giant successes and
managed to sell 28 million copies.
Ben Andrews of the development team confirmed to the official
PlayStation magazine that the game will be full of violence:
In the city of night, the violence has gone to extreme levels.
One of the things that we thought about weapons in the game,
is that the gun culture is very popular, it is different from the
way it works in our world, it is as if the gun culture in America
has gone crazy, you know that?
Everyone has a gun because violence has reached extreme
levels, the idea that you might be robbed on your return from
work is extremely common, or your apartment is broken into at
the weekend, so everyone has weapons.
You can get a firearm equivalent to about 5 euros, buy it at the
supermarket to defend your apartment, then throw it in the trash
and buy another one.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on November 19 for PC,
Playstation 4, and Xbox One, and next year for new generation devices.
