Le Parisien newspaper revealed the duration of the injury of
Paris Saint-Germain star, Killian Mbappe, who was exposed to
him during the French Cup final on Friday evening.
The Parisian newspaper pointed out that Mbabbe’s injury to the
ankle would keep him out of the field for a period of 10 to 15
days, which could allow him to join the Champions League.
The injury of the young French international raised the concern
due to the intrusive interference of Saint Etienne defender on his
ankle during the meeting, but tests later showed that the injury
was not an ankle fracture, but only a sprain.
The period may allow Mbappe to recover before the Paris Saint-
Germain meeting in the European Champions League against
Atlanta, which will be held 17 days from now.
Paris Saint-Germain aspires to have Mbappe in his ranks during
the Champions League, which will be completed in Portugal,
starting August 7.
Preparations will be in full swing now, to rehabilitate Mbappe,
so that he can be ready to participate in the quarter-final
showdown against the Italian champions Atlanta surprise.
