The famous “France Football” magazine revealed, on Monday, the list of the 11 best soccer players in history,
according to 140 sports journalists from around the world, and named the “Dream Team” to the historical squad.
The historic squad was based on a 3-4-3 plan and relied on the historical influence of each player during his
career in the stadiums.
The list included Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, the only two players from the current era.
The list also included the Brazilian Ronaldo in the attack next to Messi and Ronaldo.
As for the midfield, it consists of 4 stars, and they are Argentina legend Diego Maradona and Brazil legend Pele,
former Barcelona star Xavi Hernandez, and German Lothar Matthews as a defensive midfielder.
In defense, the list included 3 players, they are Brazilian Cafu, German Franz Beckenbauer, and Italian
Paolo Maldini.
As for the guard post, the list included the legendary Russian goalkeeper Lev Yashin.
It is reported that France Football is famous for awarding the Golden Ball award annually to the best player
in the world, but it decided to cancel the award this year due to the outbreak of the Corona virus.
