Chelsea managed to escape from a defeat that seemed achieved,
and reversed their 3-0 defeat at West Brom to a 3-3 draw,
on Sunday, in the third stage of the Premier League.
Tammy Abraham scored a goal in stoppage time for the second
half, to lead Chelsea to the important uprising.
And Marcus Alonso, a Chelsea defender, made a mistake that
Calon Robinson took advantage of and scored the first goal in
West Bromwich in the fourth minute, and then the Irish striker
added the second goal after defender Thiago Silva, newly
joined, failed to receive an easy pass.
In the absence of defensive oversight, Kyle Bartley scored the
home side’s third goal from close range in the 27th minute.
However, Chelsea players managed to score 3 goals in about 35
minutes, started by Mason Mount, who restored hope and
reduced the difference 10 minutes after the start of the second half.
Substitute Callum Hudson-Odoi made it 3-2 in the 70th minute,
before Abraham followed up a rebound from the goalkeeper and
clinched a thrilling equalizer for Frank Lampard’s side.
