Users of iPhones and iPads reported a new technology problem,
putting Apple, the producer, in the criticism circle again.
Press reports have revealed that some users of “Apple” products
suffer from a problem with the screen, which turns into a strange
green color, either temporarily with low lighting or when
unlocking phones, or even permanently with others.
It seems that the problem for some users is caused by the update
of the iOS operating system, but for others it was accepted by
the company “Apple” as a hardware error that requires changing
the screen, according to “Forbes” magazine.
The “iPhone 11 Pro” and “iPhone 11 Pro Max” phones are
the most affected, although there are reports indicating
the same problem in the “iPhone X” phones, and the common
factor between these devices is the “OLED” screens.
Moreover, some iPhone owners reported that the problem first
surfaced with installing iOS 13.4, and it worsened with iOS 13.5
and iOS 13.5.1 updates, while some new buyers reported that
the problem was present with the launch of the phones.
Affected phone users say that the problem is still present in
the new beta version of iOS 13.5.5, so the repair schedule
is unknown, either through OS updates or via a device
recall campaign.
Therefore, the real reason behind the problem has not been
revealed, knowing that “Apple” acknowledged the defect in
some cases, and its distribution outlets and official vendors
agreed to replace the screens under the warranty.
