The Federal Office for the Protection from Radiation Hazards in Germany recommended taking some preventive measures to protect from the risks of radiation from mobile phones.
The experts of the German office explained that the first of these measures is not to use the mobile phone in places where the network is weak, the weaker the phone network, the greater the need to operate the phone more powerfully.
It is also advised to avoid making phone calls in the event of bad reception in trains, metro or cars for example, in addition to places, where the service is not available well.
Experts believe that it is also necessary to keep the phone from the ear as far as possible, as the density of electromagnetic fields decreases rapidly with distance, so it is recommended to make calls using wired headphones or via wireless headphones.
On the other hand, experts recommend before purchasing the phone to verify what is known as the SAR value, which is the high frequency energy meter, which is absorbed by the body tissues when using mobile phones, knowing that the maximum allowable is 2 watts per kilogram, according to German news agency quoted.
