The controversial Swedish striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, returned to his offensive remarks, and this time his
“victim” was the Italian Atalanta striker, Dovan Zapata.
The Swedish star appeared angry at AC Milan’s big defeat at the hands of Atalanta, 0-3, on Saturday, to attack
the match star Zapata, who scored the third goal against the Italian league leaders.
With the close of the match, Milan players demanded a penalty kick, after blocking inside the penalty area, but
the referee refused to meet their demands.
According to “Football Italy”, the Colombian striker, Zapata, ridiculed Zlatan’s demands for a penalty kick
despite the actual end of the match. He told him, “Do you want the 13th penalty kick?”, Indicating that
the penalty kick will give Zlatan the 13th goal in the league.
But the Swedish star Ibrahimovic attacked the Colombian striker with usual fiery statements, on the field:
“I scored more goals in my career than the number of matches you played in your life,” according to the website.
According to the newspaper, the Colombian striker ignored the “Zlatan attacks” afterwards, and turned his back
on the historic scorer, before the referee hit the end of the match with Atalanta winning 3-0.
Zlatan’s comments ignited the Internet as usual, and the football fans began to recall the player’s biting
statements, quickly admiring his continuous intuition.
It is noteworthy that the 39-year-old Swedish striker has scored 12 goals in the league this season, including
3 penalties.
This is the biggest defeat for Milan this season, a team that clings narrowly to the top of “Serie A”, two points
ahead of Inter Milan.
