Milan returned from afar, scoring 3 goals in 5 exciting minutes
in the second half, turning the table at Juventus, turning their
two goals late to a 4-2 victory, Tuesday.
These are the first points Juventus, the Italian league leaders,
have lost since the competition resumed last month after
it stopped due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Juventus seemed to be on the way to another victory when
Adrien Rabio put him ahead with an individual effort goal
two minutes into the second half.
Cristiano Ronaldo added the second goal with a special shot
to score his 26th goal in the league this season.
But the “old lady” team started to collapse when Zlatan
Ibrahimovic narrowed the lead from a penalty kick in the
62nd minute, and Frank Casey tied the ball four minutes later,
then Rafael Liao put the home side ahead 1 minute later, before
completing Ante Rebich in the 80th minute.
Despite the loss, Juventus held the lead with 75 points and
remained 7 points away from second-placed Lazio, who lost
2-1 on the humble Lecce land earlier today.
Milan jumped to fifth place with 49 points, though it is still far
from the fourth-place European Champions League qualifier by
14 points.
