According to Spanish press reports, Barcelona coach Ronald
Koeman is preparing to get rid of the star of the team, Othmane
Dembele, in the same way he took to release Luis Suarez.
“Mundo Deportivo” newspaper reported that Koeman was still
urging him to leave Dembele, despite a statement in which he
said a few days ago that he “is counting on the services of
the young player.”
The source said Koeman wanted to use the method he got rid of
Suarez in getting rid of Dembele.
During the press conference preceding Barcelona’s match today
with Seville, Koman stressed that if Dembele decided to stay,
he would have “opportunities” to participate with the team.
The newspaper considered that what was mentioned by the
Dutch coach is “a warning message that reveals in concrete
terms that the player is not fundamentally in his accounts,
and that there are other players in his position who will depend
on them, such as Antoine Griezmann, Anso Fati, the talented
Portuguese Trinkau, the Brazilian Coutinho and others.”
She added that Coman responded in the same way that he had
when asked about Suarez’s future in the Catalan team.
This talk comes at a time when there are reports of negotiations
between Dembley and Manchester United, England.
News reports said that the “Red Devils” club is in an advanced
stage of negotiations with the French international wing, as the
two parties agreed to a loan for a period of one season.
