Juventus suffered the first loss at home in Serie A in more than
two years, as the season ended with a 3-1 loss to Roma, Saturday.
Juventus lost their last time at home in the league to Napoli in
April 2018, but lost in the last two games after winning the
league title one week ago to finish the competition with 83
points and one point behind second-placed Inter Milan.
Juventus, who hosts Olympique Lyon in the second leg of the
Champions League round of 16 next Friday, rested a number of
his key players, most notably Cristiano Ronaldo, but he scored
with a goal by Gonzalo Higuain in the fifth minute.
Nikola Kalinic equalized for Rome, then Diego Perotti added
the second goal of the penalty kick before the break, before
Perotti scored the third goal as well after a great effort by Nikolo Zaniolo.
