The substitute Paulo Dybala scored a stunning goal to
lead Juventus back to the top of the Serie A club, with a
2-0 victory over Inter Milan against crowds without fans
in Turin, Sunday.
Juventus, who opened the scoring via Aaron Ramsey,
leads the competition with 63 points, one ahead of
second-placed Lazio, with nine points on Inter, but coach
Antonio Conte has a game in hand.
Ramsey shook the net from close range at the beginning
of the second half, and contributed to the second goal.
Dybala exchanged the pass with the Welsh player at the
edge of the penalty area, then defended Ashley Yang,
defender Inter, before firing a low shot into the goal.
The match, named after Italy’s derby, was held due to the
importance of the two teams and the historical struggle
between them, without fans after the Italian
government’s decision to hold the tournament behind
closed doors until April 3.
Before the start of the match, the camera transmitted a
strange sight of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo after
he got off the Juventus bus, as he set out to reach out to
supposed supporters who did not exist, in a cynical
reference to the absence of the fans due to Corona.
