Juventus announces the return of Pogba .. and a great financial sacrifice for the “prodigal son”
Juventus, the Italian league giant, announced the return of Frenchman
Paul Pogba to its ranks in a free transfer, coming from Manchester United,
on Monday.
Pogba left Manchester United after his contract expired last month and will
play again with Juventus, who spent 4 successful and title-filled seasons with
them during the 2012-2016 period.
Pogba signed with the “old lady” for three seasons, with the possibility of renewing
an additional season if he so desired, but he had to reduce his salary significantly.
According to Italian sources, Pogba will receive a salary of 8 million euros annually
with Juventus, which is less than half of his previous salary at Manchester United.
Pogba was earning 17 million euros a week with Manchester United, but he had to
reduce his huge salary, with his age and level.
