Many people quarantined by the recent outbreak of the
Coronavirus have talked about the side effects left by the
stone, especially weight gain.
Football players, known for their high fitness, were not
far from this, says Juventus midfielder, Aaron Ramsey.
The Welsh player said in an interview with the British
newspaper “Sun” that he is afraid of gaining weight in
light of the quarantine he is currently subject to, and he
and almost all the stars of the world football.
The Corona virus forced the leagues and leagues to stop,
as well as the accompanying exercises being stopped,
and in an attempt to keep players ’fitness at their level,
some clubs approved a training schedule that players
would perform at home.
Among these clubs was Juventus, who is played by
Ramsay alongside Portuguese soccer legend Cristiano
Ronaldo.
“I train at home and follow Juventus’ program, but it is
not the same as at the training center,” Ramsay says.
He added: “At home there is my wife who loves to cook,
and I love to eat. It is definitely not a great mix (for
fitness).”
He continued: “I am afraid of gaining weight, because I
also love cookies. Every time I drink tea, I eat cookies
for children.”
The Welsh player expressed his hope that life will return
to normal, because the current situation is “very difficult”
according to his expression.
