Midfielder Sami Khedira, who is crowned with the German national team in the 2014 World Cup in football,
is close to moving to Hertha Berlin, which is the fourteenth in the Bundesliga, after leaving the accounts of Juventus,
the Italian league titleholder, according to what was reported on Sunday by the German “Kicker” website.
According to the specialized site, the 33-year-old player is in the capital, Berlin, on Sunday to undergo a traditional
medical examination. It will move from one “old lady” to another since the two clubs carry the same nickname.
Khedira has won 5 league titles and three cups with Juventus since 2015, but this season’s new coach, Andrea Pirlo,
has not counted on him this season.
As a result of repeated injuries, Khedira played 10 matches in the Italian league season 2018-2019, then 12 last
season, while he missed the entire squad since the beginning of the current season.
The German player began his career with Stuttgart, then moved in 2010 to Real Madrid, where he won the European
Champions League title in 2014, before heading five years later to Turin to carry the colors of Juventus.
