Liverpool manager, German Juergen Klopp,
confirmed that his Premier League team is still able
to improve its level further despite the suspension
of its sporting activities due to the outbreak of
the Coronavirus pandemic.
“I have no idea what the future holds for us.
But we will not change, this team is not a
synthetic material, we still have a lot of room to
improve, and we are working on it. We have new
blood making its way,” Juergen Klopp said in an
interview with Sky Sports.
He added that the determination of the club
members will not change, stressing that the
success of “Reds” depends on what other clubs
are doing because they have the opportunity to
improve things and overcome them better.
Regarding the resumption of local matches,
Klopp considered that the return of football
matches should not be imposed by coercion and if
he acknowledged that playing the games again may
have a positive impact on the general mood in
the country.
“All Liverpool people are at home,” Klopp said.
“We do not have any cases of HIV or the like.”
“We may meet and train in groups of two, five, six
or eight, but I am not sure when this is possible,
we have to wait for the government’s decision in
this regard. We cannot impose that.”
