German midfielder Toni Kroos, Real Madrid’s star, revealed
the scenes of exciting interaction of the stars of the “royal team”
during the defeat of their “humiliating” opponent Barcelona,
2-8 in the Champions League.
Barcelona suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of Bayern
Munich, 2-8, in the Champions League quarter-finals, last week.
“I cannot reveal everything that happened within the WhatsApp
conversation of the Real Madrid team during the match … but
there was some happiness, and irony, from Barcelona’s heavy defeat,” Kroos said.
The German star added, “There were some messages that
definitely mocked the defeat.”
The German star praised the performance of his former team
Bayern Munich during the tournament, and said that he had
sent a message to his German teammate and Bayern Munich
star Joshua Kimmich.
“I thought that Real Madrid winning the league was a great
achievement, but you have greatly underestimated this
achievement with this result and performance,” said Kroos.
Bayern Munich reached the final match of the Champions
League, where they will face Paris Saint-Germain in the final
match on Sunday evening.
