Manchester City announced on Friday, the transfer of German
player Leroy Sané to Bayern Munich, for a period of five years
until June 2025.
The English club wrote in his Twitter account: “Leroy Sané
joined Bayern Munich. # Thank you, Leroy.”
In the same context, the Bavarian club confirmed on its official
website that “Sane (24 years) signed a five-year contract until
June 2025, and preparations for the next season will start in
Munich next week.”
Media reports have spoken of a deal between the two clubs in
recent days, estimating that it may be the largest this summer.
Reports indicate that the value of the deal did not exceed
50 million euros, in a 5-year contract.
Bayern Munich chased Sani for a whole year, and he was
supposed to sign with the player before the start of the current
season, for 100 million euros, but his cruciate ligament
postponed the signature.
Sani is expected to hold the number 10 at the Bavarian club,
the number worn by Dutch star Areen Rubin.
