With the release of the September report from SuperData, the
agency revealed the global digital sales of Marvel’s Avengers
action game, which sold 2.2 million digital copies during that
month as the second-best digital release of Square Enix after
the Final Fantasy VII Remake.
According to the report, the digital game’s sales were
comparable to Marvel’s Spider-Man exclusive for the
PlayStation 4, and we are awaiting details about the sales of the
store copies that will give a better comparison between the two
games in terms of performance during the launch period.
