Napoli won 4-0 for the second match in a row in Serie A to crush struggling Crotone and
advance to third place in the competition.
The goals of Gennaro Gattuso’s team came through Lorenzo Insigne, Herving Lozano,
Diego Demme and Andrea Betania, bringing it to 20 points from ten matches and ahead
of Juventus on goal difference.
After escaping an early opportunity with a header from Simi, Napoli took the lead with Insini’s
goal in the 31st minute.
Piotr Jelinsky evaded censorship and passed to the Napoli captain, who fired a well-placed shot
into the far corner.
The suffering of Croton, who scored only two points this season, increased after his player
Jacobo Petriccione received a direct red card due to a violent intervention against his opponent
Demi in the 55th minute.
Three minutes later, Insini made the second goal after a cross to Luzano and the Mexican player
received the ball and fired brilliantly into the net.
Demi added the third goal with a fine shot in the 76th minute, after a pass from Dries Mertens,
who also made the fourth goal for his teammate Betania in the last minute.
