During the next few days, the WhatsApp application for instant communication will stop
working on millions of phones, according to the British newspaper “The Sun”.
The source said: “People who have old smartphones should know that the application will stop
working with them by the next year 2021.”
He continued, “This means that they have only two weeks left to update their devices in case they
wish to benefit from WhatsApp services.”
Starting in 2021, the popular app will deposit any iPhone devices “that do not run at least iOS 9”.
For Android owners, the minimum operating system required is 4.0.3 or above.
“Apple” users need to go to “Settings”, then “General”, then “About” to find out the operating system of their phones.
