Neymar scored a hat-trick that led Brazil to a difficult win over
Peru, Tuesday, in the second round of South American
qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The owners of the land surprised the guests in the 6th minute
with a goal scored by Andre Carrillo, Al Hilal striker of Saudi
Arabia, with a thunderous volley, but Neymar tied for Brazil in
the 28th minute with a penalty kick he caused.
Peru took the lead again in the 59th minute through Renato
Tapia with a long shot that changed direction, but it was not
until 5 minutes that the visitors equalized through Everton’s Richardson.
The role came again for the French Paris Saint-Germain star, as
Neymar caused and scored another penalty kick in the 83rd
minute, then added the fourth in calculated time instead of lost
by following a ball that bounced off the post, after the Peruvian
team lost two red cards.
Brazil jumped to the top of the 10-nation qualifiers, with 6
points from two matches, on a par with Argentina, which scored
a difficult 2-1 victory over Bolivia.
