Ninjala is the upcoming action game from GungHo Entertainment
exclusively for the Nintendo Switch this month, which may have
surprised some as it is confirmed later that the game will be released
in the free f2p model, why did that happen? Well, game designer Kazuki
Morishita answers this question to Western media:
GungHo has a history with free titles like Puzzle & Dragons. Ninjala was
originally intended to be a paid game, but after observing market
changes in recent years, we wanted the game to reach as many players,
adults and even children as possible. So we moved to the free model.
Players will be able to buy Jala coin in the game with real money,
and use this coin to get new in-game tools.
