The Spanish development team, MercurySteam, announced, through a press release, that Nordisk Games
has acquired 40% of the company’s shares. It also announced that the team, which currently
consists of more than 160 employees, working on several new games developed for the PC and
home appliances.
This investment and this new partner will help the team enter a new era, according to MercurySteam CEO Enric
Alvarez, who promised that the best is on the way. MercurySteam known for introducing Castlevania: Lords of
Shadow, Metroid: Samus Return, and recently introduced Spacelords.
