The Spanish newspaper AS has published a report reviewing the distinguished numbers of loaned Real Madrid star Martin Odegaard to Real Sociedad in the Spanish League this season.
Odegaard kidnapped the limelight in the past months thanks to the great performance he is doing with Real Sociedad, and everyone is calling for his return to the Royal Club after the end of the season, and rely on him mainly next season, where he managed to score 4 goals and make 5 others in the Liga championship.
The newspaper pointed out in its report that Odegaard participated in 25 attacks of the Basque team translated into the goals of this season, that is, he contributed 65% of the total Sociedad goals in the league, and this is superior to Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez, the two Barcelona stars, who each participated in 46% of the team’s goals.
The numbers of the young Norwegian star do not stop there, as he managed to provide 90 key passes in La Liga this season, a pass that puts the striker in a suitable place for registration or exceeds the opponent’s defense line.
The report added that there is only one player who surpasses Odegaard in this field, and that is Lionel Messi, who has provided 146 key passes so far, as the most player in the tournament.
Karim Benzema is considered the best in Real Madrid with key passes this season, as he has completed 47 passes, which is half of the number submitted by Audegaard.
