Killian Mbappe may miss the Paris Saint-Germain match in
the quarter-finals of the Champions League against Atlanta after
excluded for three weeks to recover from an ankle injury.
The diagnosis came two and a half weeks before Paris Saint
Germain met with the Atlanta team in Lisbon on August 12
when the tournament resumed after mandatory leave due to
the new Corona virus “Covid-19”.
Mbappe injured, on Friday, in the second half of the French
Cup final match between Paris Saint-Germain and Saint-
Etienne, which Mbabe won 1-0.
Paris Saint Germain said in a statement that “a diagnosis made
today confirmed ankle sprain and an injury to the outer
ligament. After this injury, the recovery time estimated at 3 weeks.”
Mbappe, 21, has scored 30 goals in 34 games this season.
