A Xiaomi patent revealed the Chinese company’s
intention to develop a foldable smartphone.
The design of the new Xiaomi product is similar to the
Motorola Moto Razer and Galaxy Z Flip from Samsung,
but part of it can be rotated.
And integrates the phone, according to the photos
published by the site, “Lets Go Digital”, a tape in the
upper half that can be managed horizontally to change
the orientation of the back cameras towards the front for
use in taking selfies, according to the AIT NEWS
website that specializes in technical news.
The upper section of the phone includes the power
button, and the volume change buttons on the right side,
and there are holes for the speaker below the rotatable
part.
Although patents do not necessarily mean that they
become a physical product, they do provide a glimpse
into how companies think to develop their devices.
It is noteworthy that other patents from “Xiaomi”
revealed a number of phones with unique designs,
such as a phone that contains 7 cameras, another two-
sided with a screen that wraps around it, and a phone
with two front cameras within the screen.
