Real Madrid striker Vinicius Junior entered a substitute at the
right time, to give his team a difficult 1-0 home victory over
Real Valladolid in the Spanish top flight, on Wednesday.
The Brazilian player, who played in place of the ineffective
Luka Jovic, struggled to recover the ball at the edge of the
penalty area, to hit a defender of Valladolid, before he quietly
kicked it into the goal, scoring the precious goal in the 65th
minute after 7 minutes after entering.
The defending champion, who lost Eden Hazard due to injury
earlier on Wednesday, and played without midfielder Toni
Kroos, lacked the smoothness and brilliance of his third game
of the season, and barely deserved to win.
Valladolid goalkeeper Roberto Jimenez blocked two attempts by
the Serbian striker Jovi ،, while the crossbar responded with a
shot by Casemiro moments before Vinicius’ goal, and Luka
Modric hit the post in the final minutes.
