Real Madrid revealed that its Belgian star Eden Hazard
underwent a successful operation with his right ankle in
the United States.
The Primera Liga champions said that Eden Hazard
underwent surgery on his broken right foot on Thursday,
noting that the surgery was performed at a clinic in
Dallas, Texas, USA.
“Hazard successfully underwent surgery (Thursday) in
Dallas due to an ankle fracture in his right foot. The
operation was conducted under the supervision of the
Real Madrid medical device,” Real Madrid said in a
statement, noting that the player will remain under
observation until he is able to start the rehabilitation
process, According to “AFP”.
And Hazard was injured in the twenty-fifth stage of the
Spanish League on February 23, during the match that
the Royal team lost to its host Levante with an orphan
goal.
The injury to the right foot of Hazard, who joined the
Royal Club transferring from Chelsea, is a repeat of the
injury last November, which forced him to move away
from the fields about 3 months earlier, as previously he
suffered a muscle injury during training before the start
of the Spanish football season.
Hazard, 29, had moved from Chelsea to Real Madrid in
the summer of 2019 for 100 million euros, but he has
participated with his team only in 15 games since the
start of the season, during which he scored one goal.
