The original Final Fantasy VII players undoubtedly
remember the Red XIII character and his initial
appearance in Shinra Labs in the game, game director
Naoki Hamaguchi told VG247 that REDXIII will be a
guest in this part of the remic (comes to help the rest of
the characters and is not directly controllable) and will be
used Its traditional attacks but it will not be available as
a party option.
Naoki Hamaguchi affirmed that the development team
felt that the moment that Red XIII fully joined the group
was somewhat late in the story, and it appears that the
development team intends to provide it as a playable
character in future parts that will complete the Final
Fantasy 7. The playable characters in this part are Cloud,
Teva, Barrett, and Eirith, Claude is the main character
and will return to him as soon as the fighting ends.
Final Fantasy 7 REMICK will be released on April 10th
exclusively for a full year on play station 4.
