According to sports press reports, Barcelona is still
seeking to restore the Brazilian star, Neymar, to support
the offensive line, despite the failure of negotiations,
last summer.
On Friday, the newspaper “Mundo Deportivo” referred to
Barcelona’s plan to present Osman Dembli, Todibo and
Umtiti in a reciprocal deal to Neymar to reduce its price
and facilitate the return of the Brazilian player to the
“Blaugrana” ranks.
The main player in this deal is likely to be Dembele,
who has performed modestly during the past seasons,
according to the Spanish newspaper “AS”, which
indicated that the value of the player became less than
half of his price when he arrived in Barcelona,
meaning it fell to 56 million euros.
The Spanish newspaper added that the Catalan club is
ready to offer Todibo, Umtiti, and Dembele to persuade
St. Germain officials to agree to the return of Neymar,
and for this, he activated the citizenship clause,
especially since Dembele is a French player.
