According to Gamestat, which monitors the number of
players for different video games, the recently released
Final Fantasy VII remake reached the 2.3 million mark
during the first three days of launch, and it can be said
that the number represents game sales on the PlayStation
4 digital store.
If these figures are correct, the game is the third best-
selling PS4 in the first three days of launch, as Marvel’s
Spider-Man managed to reach 3 million players during
the same period, while God of War reached 2.4 million
players in the same period as well. We are waiting for
Square Enix to reveal the official sales of the game to
see its performance.
