Famitsu magazine confirmed that the opening game
Resident Evil 3 Remake in Japan was very good, with
today’s report.
The magazine hinted that sales of the new horror and
action game reached 189,490 copies within two days of
its launch in the countries of the rising sun.
Although impressive, it was not enough to take Animal
Crossing: New Horizons off the throne of the best-selling
games out there, whose sales reached 423,367 copies
last week alone – and officially exceeded the threshold
of three million.
Looking at hardware sales in Japan, we see that the
Nintendo Switch flies higher with combined sales of its
release, exceeding 150,000 units there. As for the PS4, it
came with various variants, including nearly 20,000
units.
