The latest issue of the Japanese famitsu magazine included
a new interview with Tsuyoshi Kanda and Pete Fabiano,
two products currently working on the new part of the popular
horror series Resident Evil, titled Village.
Alex Aniel, the big fan of the series, translated the questions and
answers from that interview, according to which the village
version was under development 3 and a half years ago, and it
confirmed that solving the puzzles will be a very important
part of the experience along with the exploration component.
Speaking of the story of the game, it confirmed that
Resident Evil Village is the sequel to the seventh part and
the conclusion of its story, which may mean that the actual end
of the role of Ethan in the world of the series. The game will be
released on the PC and the new generation of home appliances
during the next year.
