Psyonix intends to convert the Rocket League soccer game to
the free model to become an f2p game, and when it becomes
such, the owners of the game on the Playstation 4 and Nintendo
Switch will be able to play it over the network for free, while
the owners of the Xbox version will still have to subscribe with
Xbox Live to play Experiment across the network.
The game will get a new update by mid-September and the
game will switch to the free model soon after that.
