After two years of “estrangement”, the two stars met, Portuguese
Cristiano Ronaldo and Spaniard Sergio Ramos together, and
settled their differences, on Wednesday evening, after the
friendly match that brought their two teams together.
And, surprisingly, in the summer of 2018, Ronaldo moved from
Real Madrid to Juventus, a big rift in the relationship between
the two big stars.
After the transfer that took place after 9 years with Real Madrid,
and then ignored his former Real Madrid teammate, Luka
Modric, when he won the Ballon d’Or, a clear dispute occurred
between the “royal” leader Ramos and Ronaldo.
Despite the great friendship between them, Ronaldo and Ramos
moved away, and had not met on any occasion since 2018, until
the dispute became evident to the international media.
But it seems that Wednesday’s match between Spain and
Portugal in Lisbon, which ended in a goalless draw, corrected
the dispute, as Ramos visited Ronaldo in the dressing room and
exchanged friendly talks, before publishing a picture of them
together, and Ramos holding Ronaldo’s shirt.
Ramos wrote on his personal account, commenting on the
picture: “We are still here … and there is more. Happy to see
you, my friend Cristiano Ronaldo.”
