Egyptian football star agent Mohamed Salah commented
on statements made by former coach of the Egyptian
team, Hani Ramzy, in which he said that Real Madrid
made a bid to include the “Pharaoh” from Liverpool
in 2018.
“Muhammed has not discussed any plans about his future
with any of his former coaches,” he said, in a brief tweet
via his official Twitter account, on Monday, to deny
categorically what Ramzi said, which Abbas referred
in his tweet.
Abbas’s comments came in response to what Ramsay
said about Mohamed Salah receiving an offer from
the royal club.
Ramzy, former assistant coach of Egypt’s national team
Hector Cuper, had said earlier that Salah had rejected
an offer by the European giant two years ago.
He added in a television interview: “When I was working
with Hector Cuper, we were training in Switzerland in
March 2018, I was talking at the time with Salah and he
told me that Real Madrid sent him an offer.”
He continued, “But Salah discussed this with me and
Cooper, and decided to stay with Liverpool because he
was comfortable there.”
The 27-year-old star of the “Pharaohs” team had signed
a new 5-year contract with Liverpool in 2018, at which
time media reports said that the contract did not contain
any penal conditions, in reference to Salah’s commitment
to stay in “Anfield”.
