Egyptian star Mohamed Salah put an end to his scoring fast in the Premier League in a wonderful way
by scoring two goals to win defending champion Liverpool 3-1 at West Ham United on Sunday.
And Liverpool came to life after a first-half devoid of any events in front of the goal at London Stadium,
and Salah scored two goals in a wonderful way to give the three points to his team.
The Egyptian striker took to the center of the field to shoot his left foot into the goal after 57 minutes –
his first goal in the league since December 19 – and doubled the score with a superb finish to a counterattack
in the 68th minute.
Substitute Roberto Firmino set up the third goal by Jenny Vignaldum in the 84th minute, before
Craig Dawson narrowed the lead to West Ham three minutes later.
In another match, German coach Thomas Tuchel scored his first victory with Chelsea after replacing
Frank Lampard, at the expense of his guest Burnley 2-0 in the domestic league.
