Shadow Warrior 3
The development team Flying Wild Hog returns to us to present
the third part of the series of shooting and action games Shadow Warrior,
6 years after the release of the second part, with our return to playing
the hero Lo Wang in another experience full of violence and bloody,
but with many notable changes and some additions, so how was the experience?
The story of the game follows the end of the second part, and we find that
Lo Wang and a few other characters are the only ones left on earth.
Humanity was almost extinct because of the huge dragon that sucks
energy from the world. Lo Wang has to cooperate with former opponents
to eliminate this dragon and save the world, as usual. From this series,
the story is not an essential element, and it justifies the events, nothing more,
while using it to make some jokes here and there.
On the graphic level, the game offers good graphics while taking care of some
effects such as your ability to blow up some members of the monsters you
encounter, but not in the same amazing detail that other games have done,
on the audio level, the game offers a good set of melodies and it does
not differ in either of the mentioned aspects.

Shadow Warrior 3
The gameplay is largely based on the DOOM reboot, with the addition
of hook and the ability to run on walls. While the mix offered by DOOM
is fun and entertaining, Shadow Warrior 3 applies it on a smaller scale,
as you have fewer weapons, the arenas come in a medium or small size,
and the difficulty The game is medium, even in the phase of high difficulty,
and despite its dependence on speed, it does not provide the same sense
of urgency and need for movement that you feel when playing DOOM,
and this does not mean that the experience is not fun, but its fun is limited
compared to the games that borrow the ideas from.
During the game, you can eliminate enemies using your sword, which will
cause the ammo to fall from them, and if you want to refill the health counter,
you must eliminate the enemies using one of the firearms.
During the points that enemies will inflict after eliminating them,
doing fatal blows means refilling the health meter completely with you
getting a special weapon from most monsters that can be used once or
for a limited time such as getting an ice bomb or a weapon that
targets enemies automatically.
Execution of the fatal blow depends on the type of monster you are facing,
weak monsters will require one bar of that counter, but more powerful
enemies will require two or three bars. Moving from one circuit to another
without presenting an actual challenge, and the third part comes with a very
linear design of the stages and does not provide actual ability to explore,
and the few areas to explore are mostly empty.
The Shadow Warrior 3 offers a set of challenges that require you to eliminate a certain
number of enemies using one of the weapons and in a special way, such as
eliminating more than one enemy with a shot from the grenade launcher
or eliminating two enemies using one blow from the sword.
As a reward for completing the challenge, you will get points for developing
weapons or your character and you will find Many of these points are during
the jumping details between platforms, but most of them you will find on your
way without the need to search, and there are some of them that may be unclear
or require careful consideration of the surrounding environment, Upgrading
weapons generally increases the effectiveness of the weapon and its ammunition,
while providing a specific development for each weapon so that it is distinguished
from others and developing the capabilities of your character.
It does the usual things, such as raising the health meter,
increasing the effectiveness of some attacks and abilities, or
the ability to automatically refill the health meter gradually.
The content of the game is very limited, as it offers a story mode
that can be played individually only with the absence of the option
of team play and the absence of the ability to replay the stages.
The beginning to try to achieve this as there is no New Game+ option
and the absence of the ability to replay a certain stage is a strange decision,
one of the other annoying things in the game is the constant chatter from
Lo Wang, and although it is usual from the character, she repeats the same
jokes in this game in a way So repetitive and I wish I had the option
to make him shut up sometimes!
We finished Shadow Warrior 3 in 5 hours on medium difficulty and finishing
it on high difficulty won’t increase life significantly. Even when you
try it on that difficulty you will find that the challenge is limited,
Shadow Warrior 3 takes many good ideas but implements them on
a smaller scale in a short and limited experience It’s a game that
won’t leave a lasting impression on you.
