David Silva, Manchester City player, chose Real
Madrid defender Sergio Ramos when asked about
the player he wished to include in his club ranks.
“He is Ramos because I know him well for a long
time. He is a captain and will benefit Manchester
City a lot,” Silva was quoted by the Spanish
newspaper “Marca” as saying when asked what
player he would choose if he was asked to include
one Real Madrid star for the “Citizens”.
In response to a question about his feeling of not
playing for the Royal Club, Silva said: “I do not feel
bad about not playing for Real Madrid, because my
football career is good and I am happy with that.”
At the meeting between Real Madrid and City in the
Champions League competitions, Silva explained:
“We as players have to do our best in the match, so
every match in this tournament is very important.
We want to win against Real and achieve a good
result before the return match at our stadium.”
Silva touched on his decision to move to
Manchester City in 2010 from Valencia, where he
commented: “My career with Manchester City is
perfect, I am happy with the decision I made to join
the team.”
