Sega has updated the sales numbers of its famous series, and one
of these chains is Sonic the Hedgehog, with Sega’s report confirming
that the series has reached 1.14 billion sales or downloads.
Unfortunately, it seems a bit hazy with regard to Sonic, as Sega
does not only count direct sales to customers and not only count
players separately, but also count paid sales as well as free downloads
of games on smartphones and merging the two numbers together.
