Argentine star Lionel Messi is the best player in the history of
the Spanish League, according to a study conducted by the
Center for Research in Football History and Statistics.
According to the Spanish newspaper “AS”, this study was
prepared based on a series of objective data to evaluate the
players, including the analysis of goals (the game, penalty kicks,
and registration by mistake), as well as cards, expulsions, titles,
the number of international matches or seasons .
The Barcelona star topped the list with 695 points, followed by
former Sporting Gijon and Barcelona player Enrique Castro
(Kenny) with 566 points, while Cesar Rodriguez, who played
13 seasons in the Blaugrana, as well as in Sabadell and Granada,
came third with 557 points.
But the surprise in this study is the Portuguese star, Cristiano
Ronaldo, who was ranked 12th in the study with 457 points.
On the other hand, the statistic concluded that Messi is the
player who scored the most goals in the League (444),
followed by Ronaldo (312).
On the other hand, the Portuguese star is the best scorer in
penalties, with a score of 61, a record that Messi can beat (57)
as he is still in the Spanish League, unlike the Juventus striker.
