French Prime Minister Eduard Philippe announced
the French League’s abolition of this season, and
the suspension of football matches in France until
next September.
It expected that the French League will meet this time
this week, to determine the details of the cancellation,
change the league champion or not, and acknowledge
the issue of the decline and the rise.
It is noteworthy that Paris Saint-Germain was the closest
to the league title, as he leads the league 12 points behind
his closest followers, Marseille, with 11 games
remaining at the end.
The French League is the first competition in the top five
leagues (Spanish, Italian, English, German, and French)
to completely cancel this season.
