The two-week quarantine period imposed on Real
Madrid’s footballers has officially ended after a
player in the Royal Club’s Basketball Team was
infected with the new Corona virus.
Sources within the club confirmed to the Spanish
sports newspaper “AS” that no other player had
been diagnosed with the Corona virus in the two-
week period, since Tri Tompkins was declared ill,
forcing more than 700 employees in Real Madrid
to submit to preventive quarantine.
However, this will not change anything for the
players, with the Spanish government deciding to
extend the state of health emergency until next
April 12.
Therefore, all members of the coach Zinedine
Zidane’s team will remain in their homes in the
Spanish capital, with the exception of Luca Jovic,
who received a special exemption from the club to
travel to Serbia.
At the moment, the players remain in the house
practicing some exercises, under the supervision of
the technical staff who monitor their conditions
remotely.
