The first match of the “Asia-South America” playoff will hold on Monday evening, between Australia,
the fifth Asian qualifier, and Peru, the fifth South American qualifier.
Al Rayyan Stadium in Qatar will host the first decisive match on Monday evening, with one match to decide
by the 31st qualifier for the World Cup.
The winner from Australia or Peru will fall into Group D of the 2022 World Cup, along with France,
Denmark and Tunisia.

As for the second and final match in the playoffs, it will represent the “Oceania – North and Central America”
supplement, between New Zealand, the Oceania qualifiers champion, and Costa Rica, the fourth “CONCACAF”
qualifiers for North and Central America.
Al Rayyan Stadium in Qatar will host the final match on Tuesday evening, with one match to decide
the final qualifier for the World Cup.
The winner from New Zealand or Costa Rica will fall into Group E of the 2022 World Cup, along with
Germany, Spain and Japan.
With the conclusion of the two final matches, the identity of the 32 teams participating in the 2022
