The iPhone 12 Series lineup should be announced later
this year, most likely next September, as the company
has done with previous generations. However, in recent
weeks, we have heard rumors that the launch has not
taken place this year but will be postponed to 2021.
There are several reasons why this possibility makes
sense, such as potential supply chain turmoil due to the
outbreak of the Coronavirus, while other reports claim
that potentially weak demand due to the economy may
force Apple to delay the launch. Having said that,
a new report from DigiTimes has now been released
that revives these rumors so that it also indicates that
the iPhone 12 Series may not be released this fall.
According to the report, he says: “Uncertainty has
emerged about whether Apple will unveil the next
generation of iPhone in the usual timeframe of
September of this year, due to the seriousness of the
Coronavirus and weak market demand, as indicated by
the sources.” The iPhone 12 Series lineup is not the only
one threatened with delay, as other Apple devices may
also be subject to delay.
However, while some reports have suggested the iPhone
12 Series launch may be delayed, some other reports
have indicated that Apple is still planning to release the
iPhone 12 Series line-up on time, whatever the risks.
