The recent Xbox malfunction problem has not been resolved.
Microsoft said in a new permit today that it expects a complete solution to the latest Xbox server
outage through a new update in the near future.
Server downtime issues, which Microsoft acknowledged last Friday,
have left some Xbox owners unable to run the games they own for four days.
Through company updates on the latest problem developments,
Microsoft said there has been a significant improvement in network stability and servers,
but said they do not expect to fully fix the problem for a few days yet.
The company’s statements on the support account on Twitter platform :
We have seen a significant improvement in the problem that has prevented some users
from buying and running games,
we expect a complete solution in the coming days as a new update is rolled out.
Responses to Xbox’s latest statements include numerous messages from
users who claim they are still unable to play their bought games.
Citing the VGC website, and according to the Does It Play account,
on Twitter and specializing in testing commercial versions to make sure they run for free online,
the majority of Xbox games require online check before they start.
The account added that in case the PSN PlayStation Network suffered a malfunction in the meantime,
all individual story games will work smoothly and without any problems as they do not require
internet connection as with most Xbox platform games.
Recently the latest Xbox network malfunction has stopped many individual Xbox games due to support
for the DRM protection system that Microsoft relies on to protect its digital gaming products.
