in a special league championship that includes all
Spanish clubs.
The teams of the “La Liga” clubs agreed to participate in
the championship of the video game “FIFA 20”, in the
league system, in compensation for the league that was
suspended due to the virus.
The Spanish video game champion, eBay Lanos,
launched the “crazy” idea on Tuesday, and it received a
huge demand on social media, and the 20 teams
participating in the league decided to nominate a player
from the first team to be represented in the FIFA 20
championship.
According to the newspaper “AS”, the idea began after
an exciting video game, which took place between
Seville and Real Betis, played by a player from both
teams, and received direct viewing exceeded 60 thousand
on the personal channel of Anos on the “Twitch” site.
Lanus then decided to invite the 20 clubs to a
championship in the game, and one player from each
team represents his club in the tournament.
Barcelona nominated Sergei Roberto to represent the
Catalan club in the FIFA 20 championship, while Real
Madrid players expressed their desire to represent the
“Royal”.
Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois revealed his desire
to represent the team in the tournament, and likewise
Spaniard Marco Asensio, which prompted the fans on
social media, to demand a playoff match between
Courtois and Asensio to determine the main Real
Madrid representative in the tournament.
The virtual tournament is an outlet for the football fans,
who have suffered from the major soccer tournaments
stopping for days, at a time when the stoppage seems to
