Tottenham Hotspur scored against Wolverhampton Wanderers after just 57 seconds, but Jose Mourinho’s
side paid the price for the retreat in defense, to draw 1-1 with their hosts in the Premier League on Sunday.

After a equal first half, Spurs retreated to the defense after a break in an attempt to show their defensive strength
under Mourinho’s leadership, and dealt with Adama Traore’s launches and Fabio Silva’s attempts inside
the penalty area.
But Wolverhampton was rewarded for his constant attack, when defender Roman Saiss reached a corner kick
before Harry Kane put it in the net against Tottenham, scoring the equalizer.
Tottenham, who topped the league at the start of December, have scored just two points in their last four matches
and are fifth, six points behind leaders Liverpool.
Wolverhampton, whose Mexican striker Raul Jimenez was absent from the match on the field, is 11th with 21 points.
