Barcelona’s new player, Bosnian, Miralem Pjanic, described
Lionel Messi as an “alien”.
The Catalan club presented its new midfield player today,
Tuesday, after his move from Italian club Juventus.
During his introduction, Pjanic, who will wear the number
8 shirt worn by Andres Iniesta and after Arthur, who recently
joined Juventus, said: “I cannot imagine Messi with another
shirt, I thought everything would end well. My desire was to
play with Messi and I had no doubts. Regarding that. ”
“I read what happened with Messi. His story with the club was
amazing, he is a hero, and I think the club is his home.
We will try to win titles with him.”
“It would be unique to share the dressing room with an alien
but the whole group is important,” he said.
“I was hoping to be here when I was six years old, but this is
the transfer market. I have a good career and I respect the clubs
that I played for before, but I joined the oldest and happy with
that,” Pjanic revealed.
The Bosnian international was infected with the Coronavirus
and was quarantined before the start of training with Barcelona
last week.
